Honouring the school Founders
As a way to continue honoring Mr. and Mrs. Sani, the Board of Directors in Septmeber 2004 introduced two scholarships, The Mulugeta Scholarship & the Benedict Scholarship.
Each year, up to 4 new students who fall in either category are selected from several applications and receive a full scholarship. Those already awarded the previous years and still in need of scholarship are maintained.
Each year many needy current students are turned down for scholarships due to the school’s inability to cater for all applicants.
Anyone wishing to sponsor a child may contact the school for further information.
Mulugeta Scholarship
The late Mrs. Muluembet Mulugeta Sani had a deep compassion for the welfare and education of the African child. Her dream was to assist the orphan child. She was concerned with the thousands of children that were being left alone by dying parents, and who could no longer attend school because there were no family members to support them.
